At Leyland St James' Nursery, we offer two option plans specifically for our families who wish to use 30 hrs. of Government funding. You also have the option to add additional sessions onto your plan that will be charged at our nursery day rate.
Plan 1 is perfect for our families who just want to do sessional, term time only hours that will continue to fit around school hour drop off and pick up times. Please note, this plan will require for you to use your full 30 hrs funding over five days and does not allow for you to add any wrap around sessions on. If you do not wish to attend for 5 days, you do always have the option to stick at the 15 hrs. of funding.
Plan 2 - This plan is specifically designed for our families who require a longer day and therefore require full day care. You have the option to choose any 3 full day care sessions, any other additional sessions can then be added to your plan and paid for at the daily rate.

Choosing the Right Plan
Your first step is to carefully follow the instructions below and apply for any funding that you may be eligible for.
How can parents apply for the funded sessions?
Parents can apply for funded childcare sessions through the UK government’s official website. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Check Eligibility:
- Visit the GOV.UK eligibility checker to ensure you meet the criteria for 15-hour or 30-hour funded sessions.
- Set Up a Childcare Account:
- Go to the GOV.UK childcare account page and create an account. You’ll need your National Insurance number and, if you’re self-employed, your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR).
- Apply for a Code:
- Once your account is set up, apply for a code to get free childcare. This code will be needed by your childcare provider to confirm your eligibility.
- Provide the Code to Your Childcare Provider:
- Share the code with your chosen childcare provider. They will use it to verify your eligibility and arrange the funded sessions for your child.
- Renew Your Code:
- Remember to renew your code every three months to continue receiving the funded hours. You’ll receive reminders from the government to do this.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free contact us.
Once you have established your funding and have revieved your code, follow the applicable link below:
